This concentration is designed to develop knowledge and skills related to the art of theatre and to provide a comprehensive program in theatre performance. It will prepare students for entry-level work or graduate studies in theatre performance.

Admission Requirements
Admission to the Theatre Performance concentration is by audition only: at the end of the student’s first year in the theatre arts concentration and after completing a minimum of nine credits in theatre, the student will be qualified to audition for the performance concentration. Transfer students who have completed one year of course work and a minimum of nine credits in theatre arts at other institutions may also audition for the concentration.
Grade Requirement
Students must maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 in the concentration. Required courses (39 credits)
Theater elective (3 credits)
Complete one course, selected from the following: Dance electives (2 credits)
Complete two credits in dance, selected from the following: Practica (2 credits)
Complete two credits, selected from the following: Performance practica (2 credits)
Complete two credits, selected from the following: Cognate course (3 credits)
Complete one course, selected from the following: Total minimum credits: 51
Core Curriculum Requirements
A minimum of 120 earned credit hours is required for graduation. These earned hours include the Core Curriculum Requirements as specified in the Undergraduate Academic Programs section of this catalog and at the Core Curriculum website, www.bridgew.edu/corecurriculum.
