BIOL 112 - Biology and Human Thought(3 credits) The development of the fetal brain, its cellular structures and organization and the functions associated with various brain regions will be discussed. Major emphasis will be devoted to neuronal cell conduction and transmission and the cellular basis for movement, sensory activity, emotions, memory and language production. In addition, students will explore a variety of brain and neurological disorders. Three hours of lecture weekly. (CNSN)
