HIST 438 - The Great Depression(3 credits) Prerequisite: HIST 221 or HIST 222 or consent of instructor This course explores the history of the United States during the Great Depression and the New Deal. As such, this course examines the economic inequalities of the 1920s before moving onto the political solutions to the Depression posed by both the Hoover and the Roosevelt Administrations. Offered alternate years. May be taken for graduate-level credit.
