ENSL 101 - English as a Second Language I(3 credits) An introduction to syntactic, semantic, phonetic and paralinguistic structures is offered. Pertinent everyday cultural concepts are discussed. Relevant comparison and contrast with the native language is treated. Functional communication in the second language in a controlled academic environment is the principal objective of the course.
