The Data Analytics Certificate is a program designed for undergraduate students from a broad range of academic disciplines who want to enhance their ability to work with data by extending their existing skill set. The certificate will help students develop working knowledge of data cleaning, data wrangling, data analysis and data visualization using contemporary platforms such as Tableau and Power BI. Students will also gain experience in using statistical software to perform exploratory data analysis. The Data Analytics Certificate will help our students prepare for today’s modern job market where data are ubiquitous.

Admission Requirements
Degree-seeking undergraduate students from any academic discipline may submit a program of study declaration form to apply at any time during the year. Non-degree seeking applicants will complete the BSU application form and demonstrate completion of high school or equivalency. Students attending other colleges and universities, including community colleges are welcome to apply. Required courses (6 credits)
Electives (6-7 credits)
Complete two courses selected from the following (elective courses may require prerequisite courses): Total minimum credits: 12
