Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Graduate Certificate


This certificate program provides knowledge of autism and the skills necessary to meet some of the needs of individuals with autism. By completing the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) course sequence, students meet the academic requirements to sit for the national BCBA examination. ABA coursework, including supervision and fieldwork, are specifically aligned with current BCBA standards and its corresponding edition of the BCBA exam. Standards and exam are subject to change, therefore timely completion of the ABA course sequence is essential. 
 

Admission requirements


Candidates must submit the following:
 

  •  Resume
  • Official transcripts of all undergraduate & graduate coursework
  •  One letter of recommendation from a BCBA supervisor
  •  Active employment in a relevant, related field with at least 6 months of experience in an ABA-based treatment setting
  •  Working with or supervised by certified BCBA personnel (Supervisor name and contact information must be submitted upon program entry)

Total minimum credits: 22*


*on a case-by-case basis, a maximum of nine credits may be waived to bring the minimum number of credits to 13
