Electives (12 credits)
Option 1: Students may follow either the Social Justice at the Intersections Track or Social Justice from a Global Perspective Track and complete four courses.

Option 2: Students may complete two courses from the Social Justice at the Intersections track and two courses in the Social Justice from a Global Perspective track. No more than two courses from the four elective courses can be taken under the same prefix. One elective course must be at 300- or 400-level.
Faculty and students will also be able to propose courses, independent studies or directed studies for the students’ individual program of study. The Social Justice Studies coordinator will review proposed courses, independent studies or directed studies to determine if they can be applied to the individual student’s program of study. Faculty and students will also be able to propose social justice capstone projects with prior consent of Social Justice Studies coordinator.
