The USTA-endorsed M.S. in Physical Education, Professional Tennis Management & Coaching (PTM & C) concentration is a course of study offered via a range of modalities. We offer a 19-month, cohort-based, low-residency program designed to support the training and preparation of tennis professionals for careers within the tennis industry. We also offer many of the degree program courses on-site at Sportime locations for Sportime employees. For the low-residency cohort, degree program courses are offered online, with the exception of a required, short-term on-campus residency experience. A minimum of a three-credit internship experience in the tennis industry is a requirement of this program, and students may need to complete additional internships to meet all of the industry certifications and standards, outlined by the USTA.

*With permission of the graduate coordinator, a student demonstrating evidence of current or prior experience as a tennis professional may opt to complete an additional approved elective course in lieu of the internship experience (PHED 595).
