Department: Physics, Photonics, and Optical Engineering

A minor in Photonics and Optical Engineering prepares students for initial work opportunities in a fast-growing field central to modern data communication, storage, processing and transmission. Through this program, students learn the beginning technical skills required in the field as well as develop a strong theoretical foundation for further studies.
