Grade Requirement

To qualify for graduation with a degree in psychology, the student must have a major grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Additionally, a minimum grade of “C” in PSYC 201 - Statistics for Psychology , PSYC 204 - Research Methods I: Introducing Research and PSYC 304 - Research Methods II: Conducting Research is required for the major.

Complete four additional advanced courses, according to the following distribution:

One course selected from either cognition and learning or biopsychology.
One course selected from either social, developmental or clinical.

Advanced topics in biopsychology

Advanced topics in social psychology

Advanced topics in developmental psychology

PSYC 416 - Adolescent Psychology

Advanced topics in clinical psychology

Complete one additional psychology (PSYC) course.

Note:

First Year Seminar and Second Year Seminar may not be applied to the requirements of the psychology major.
