Course Requirements
Students are required to complete 18 credits toward the minor. The number of language courses and electives completed is based upon the student’s language placement. Language courses (3-12 credits)
The number of language courses required is based on the student’s placement, according to the Language Placement policy. Electives (6-15 credits)

When completing a study tour, directed study or internship, students must select a program that focuses primarily on a Portuguese-speaking country or the Portuguese language. Total minimum credits: 18
