The Undergraduate Certificate in Youth Services provides students with the training and a credential to work with youth from underserved populations. This program is designed for undergraduate students from any academic discipline and for non-degree seeking individuals who want to work with youth in community centers, religious organizations, after-school programs or other organizations. The Undergraduate Certificate in Youth Services promotes cross-peer age mentoring through academics and team building activities. The Undergraduate Certificate also prepares students for working in non-profit organizations by teaching data collection, data analysis and program management from working with students to program evaluation.

Admission Requirements
Applicants are not required to have an undergraduate degree to be admitted to the program. Non-degree seeking students will certify high school completion or equivalency. Students attending other colleges and universities, including community colleges are welcome to apply.
All Undergraduate Certificate in Youth Studies applicants will complete an application for admission through the College of Continuing Studies.
