Students who wish to pursue the profession of occupational therapy may only do so at the graduate level. By majoring and successfully completing the Health Science, Pre-Occupational Therapy concentration and mindful advising, students make themselves eligible to apply for a postbaccalaureate degree in occupational therapy.

Admission Requirements
Any student may declare health science as their major with a pre-occupational therapy concentration. Students should consult with the department chairperson to apply for the concentration.
Grade Requirement
To continue progress in the concentration, a student must:
- be in good academic standing
- maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA in all HLSC core and cognate courses
- maintain a minimum 3.0 overall GPA
Health Science core courses (19-22 credits)
Cognate courses (54 credits)
Concentration requirements (18 credits)
Total minimum credits: 91
Core Curriculum Requirements
A minimum of 120 earned credit hours is required for graduation. These earned hours include the Core Curriculum Requirements as specified in the Core Curriculum section of this catalog and at the Core Curriculum website, www.bridgew.edu/corecurriculum.
