Business Foundations, Graduate Certificate

The graduate certificate in Business Foundations allows students with an undergraduate degree in a non-business field to obtain a broad-based foundation in business discipline knowledge. Consisting of four comprehensive courses, the program provides students with the opportunity to gain knowledge, confidence and skills needed to be competitive in the global marketplace. A graduate certificate in business is awarded at the completion of all four courses.
Qualified students may be able to apply all certificate courses to the Bridgewater State University MBA program.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be admitted to this program:
- Bachelor’s degree equivalent to a four-year U.S. undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
- Official transcript from the registrar of each college or university attended, whether a degree was completed or not.
- A resumé
- A one-page personal statement detailing your reasons for seeking a graduate business education, your short-and long-term professional and personal goals, and how you think this graduate program will help you achieve them.
Required courses (12 credits)
Students must complete the following courses with an overall grade point average of 3.0 to earn the graduate certificate in Business Foundations:
