Health Professions and Pre-Medical Sciences Postbaccalaureate Program

Postbaccalaureate Health Professions and Pre-Medical Sciences Program (PHPPMS) is for students who have a four year degree, but need to complete the necessary course work to be eligible to apply to medical school or other health career programs. Students are welcome to apply even if they do not intend to complete the entire certificate. Students may use courses and credits earned from previous institutions to fulfill the certificate requirements. Students are required to take at least sixteen credits at Bridgewater State University to receive a letter of recommendation from the Posbaccalaureate Health Professions and Pre-Medical Sciences Advisory Committee. In addition, students must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 within the program to be eligible to request a PHPPMS Advisory Committee Letter of Recommendation.

- earned degree from a regionally accredited baccalaureate program
- completed application
- personal statement
- two letters of recommendation
- transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
- minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0
