The Urban Studies and Planning minor provides a strong foundation for students pursuing advanced study in planning and related disciplines. Critical thinking and analysis, evaluation and synthesis of information, communication, teamwork and social responsibility equip students to engage effectively in regional, national and global communities. The Urban Studies and Planning minor delivers a broad range of core skills and knowledge needed by community planners in private, public and non-profit sectors.
