Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (official transcript required)
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.8
- Completed application form
- Three letters of recommendation (one from immediate supervisor)
- An essay articulating the participant’s philosophy of educational leadership
- Passing score on the Communication and Literacy Skills portion of the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure® (MTEL) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
Required courses (24 credits)
Electives (6 credits)
Complete two courses (six credits) in electives from any 500-level graduate course offered in the College of Education and Health Sciences, as approved by the program advisor.
Exit Requirement
All candidates must successfully pass the comprehensive examination as an exit requirement from the program. Please see the catalog section, Graduate Academic Policies , for additional information regarding comprehensive examinations. Total minimum credits: 30
