This graduate certificate program is designed for educators and allied health professionals who are interested in advancing their careers. The program provides participants with the opportunity to build a strong foundation in brain science and its applications in education and clinical practice. The program is designed as a one-year program; however, participants have a maximum or two years to complete the certificate requirements.
This is a rolling enrollment program. Students pursuing the certificate are permitted to take one course prior to enrolling in the program. For those who do not seek the certificate, individual courses may be taken for professional development purposes.

Admission Requirements
- Completed Graduate Certificate Application online (http://www.bridgew.edu/admissions/graduate/apply)
- Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate course work
- Current curriculum vita
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, psychology, education, allied health fields, special education, or a field related to education and allied health professions
- A 100-level biology course (minimum grade of “C”)
- A 100-level chemistry course (minimum grade of “C”)
- A course in child psychology, developmental psychology or psychology through the lifespan (minimum grade of “B-“)
Program of Study
