Department: Communication Studies  

The Film, Video and Media Studies concentration is designed for students who want to study film, television and other screen media; create video, audio and multimedia messages; and pursue an interest in journalism.

Grade Requirement


A minimum grade of “C” in all communication studies (COMM) course work is required of all students.

Electives (9 credits)


Complete nine additional credits, selected from communication studies (COMM) courses. COMM 298 - Second Year Seminar (Speaking Intensive)  or COMM 299 - Second Year Seminar (Writing Intensive)  may be applied as an elective.

Total minimum credits: 39

A minimum of 120 earned credit hours is required for graduation.
