MGMT 572 - Interpersonal and Group Behavior(3 credits) Prerequisite: MGMT 509 or waiver upon acceptance This course prepares students to participate as effective group members and to act as successful group leaders in workplace project teams. Students study the set of skills that professionals and managers need to meet the challenges posed by trends toward organizational decentralization, functional integration, use of cross-functional project teams and work force diversity. Theories of interpersonal and group behavior offer students the opportunity to assess individual skills and to experiment with new skills.
