MATH 518 - Topics in Analysis(3 credits) Prerequisite: MATH 202 and MATH 252; and admission to the MAT in Mathematics program; or consent of instructor The course consists of a detailed discussion of limits, continuity, and applications of differential and integral calculus, and the real number system. Group and/or individual projects will be required as part of the course. This course is designed to provide graduate-level mathematics education students with an introduction to analysis, appropriate to the needs of secondary school mathematics teachers.
