CRJU 525 - Comparative Crime and Justice(3 credits) Prerequisite: CRJU 500, which may be taken concurrently This course examines crime, justice and criminal justice systems in comparative perspective. Topics covered include multinational crime; the relationships between socioeconomic development and crime; and different approaches to law enforcement, criminal procedure and law, juvenile justice and corrections. The course will draw on United Nations criminal justice surveys and other cross-national data sources.
