PSYC 320 - Research Methods in Psychology(3 credits) Prerequisite: PSYC 100 and PSYC 201; or consent of instructor This course will focus on research methods in psychology. Students will learn how to conduct, comprehend and critically evaluate research methods used in a diversity of psychological research including, for example, biopsychology, child psychology, social issues, sensation and perception, and learning and motivation. Students will evaluate how real studies test theories and hypotheses and determine how to resolve the conflicting findings of previous research. Proper psychological experimental design and writing format will be emphasized. (CWRM)
