GEOG 506 - GIS Techniques for Advanced Spatial Problems

(3 credits)
Prerequisite: GEOG 505
This fully online course will present advanced approaches using geographic data in professional practice and the role of GIS in society. Students will build on their GIS knowledge by applying data analytics and modeling methods. A final project will either build on work from GEOG 505 or develop a new project that applies the new approaches presented in this course. Offered fall, spring, summer.
