ANTH 111 - Myth and Culture

(3 credits)
This course introduces the cross-cultural approach to world mythology, looking at themes and ideas in myths across multiple cultures and time periods. The concepts of oral traditions, ethnocentrism, and cultural relativism in myths, which are essential and fundamental elements of human cultures, will be examined in detail.
