CYGR 551 - Organization and Governance in Cybersecurity

This course explores cybersecurity topics in the organizational context, including the origin of cybersecurity policy, governance structures for policy creation, selection and implementation of policy, audit and control functions, how to identify cyber threats to the organization, assess risk levels and determine to mitigate methods at acceptable levels. The course also discusses how to develop, maintain and leverage security-driven organizational changes to harmonize with the existing culture of the organization. Offered annually.
