COMM 521 - Social Media Communication(3 credits) This graduate course examines the use of social media to strategically create value for a client or organization. Through case studies, interactive sessions, and class exercises, students will learn best practices and develop the skills to connect strategic communication objectives with social media strategy, platforms and tactics. Course work and assignments will focus on social media post writing and publishing, management and measurement tools, and creating a strategic social media plan. Offered annually.
