ENGL 374 - Grant Writing

Prerequisite: ENGL 226 or consent of instructor
This course is designed to prepare students for grant writing with a focus on drafting proposals, need letters, project descriptions, budgets and timelines. The culminating assignment will be the opportunity to present a grant through a verbal and visual presentation. This course incorporates elements of professional writing and provides the opportunity for students to write for a real-life audience and purpose. Offered alternate years.
