PHYS 116 - Physical Science for Elementary Education Majors

(4 credits)
Prerequisite: MATH 112
Corequisite: PHYS 116L
This course will explicitly address Physical and Space Science content standards and selected Technology and Engineering content standards in the Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering Curriculum Framework for grades PreK-8. Students will utilize the science and engineering practices when completing laboratory and lecture-integrated activities, homework and projects. Three hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory weekly. Offered fall, spring, summer. Additional fee required. (CNSL; CQUR)
