CHST 496 - Childhood Studies Senior Seminar I(3 credits) Prerequisite: CHST 380 with a minimum grade of “C” and CHST 398 with a minimum grade of “C” This writing-intensive senior capstone experience provides students with an opportunity to research in depth a childhood studies topic, demonstrating an advanced understanding and integration of relevant concepts. Students will use childhood studies methods to research, analyze or interpret an aspect of childhood. Students will attend seminars to explore approaches to analyzing and interpreting problems and issues and to offer peer feedback. The work during this semester prepares students to create public scholarship during the second capstone experience (CHST 497). Offered fall, spring, summer. (CWRM)
