COMP 490 - Senior Design and Development

Prerequisite: COMP 390; restricted to computer science majors with senior standing
This course provides the capstone experience for computer science majors. It pulls together the fundamental elements of the discipline and illustrates how these elements work together in practice. This course also exposes students to some cutting edge aspects of computer science. It requires students to think and write critically about the effects that our discipline can have on individuals and society. Students will design and implement a large team programming project. Offered spring semester.
