SOCI 216 - Latin American Societies

This course introduces the socio-cultural structures of Latin American societies, with a focus on social change in the region. Topics covered include the distribution of wealth and power, development, tourism and sport, work and economy, family patterns, the position of women and rural-urban contrasts.
