THEA 261 - Theatre Across Cultures I

This course explores the history of theatre from ancient Greece to the 17th century. Students will engage with theatrical conventions in playwriting, staging, performance and design. Students will examine and consider the cultural, societal and historical environments that have shaped the world of theatre. Offered fall semester. (Formerly THEA 421)
