THEA 272 - Stagecraft

(3 credits)
This course examines the techniques and practices of theatrical production including tools of the trade, theatrical spaces, stage rigging, scenic construction and painting, and theatrical safety. Students will participate in classroom lectures as well as practical projects. Additionally, students will be required to participate in outside of class shop-related projects in support of theatre department productions throughout the semester. Offered fall semester.
