ECON 375 - Labor Economics

(3 credits)
Prerequisite: ECON 101 and ECON 102; or consent of instructor
This course analyzes the determination of wages and employment in the labor market. Applications of the theory include unemployment, discrimination, safety in the workplace and unions. Effects of government policies, such as comparable worth, affirmative action and health and safety regulations, are examined. Offered alternate years.
