CNMH 536 - Applied Counseling: Children and Adolescents

(3 credits)
Prerequisite: CNGC 528; and matriculation in the MEd Counseling program; or consent of instructor
This course provides specialized knowledge and skills training in counseling children and adolescents. Specific childhood issues, interventions and treatment strategies will be explored. Current issues related to counseling children and adolescents will be examined. Ethical and legal aspects of working with this population will also be considered. Offered fall and spring semesters.
