ARTS 590 - Graduate Weaving

Prerequisite: Matriculation in the Visual Arts MAT program
Advanced work in fiber planned in accordance with the student’s prior course work and experience is undertaken. Emphasis given to thorough exploration of color, design and fiber selection in the execution of technically ambitious projects. Areas of study may include rug weaving, eight-harness double weaves, sculptural weaving and tapestry. Repeatable: may earn a maximum of nine credits. Meets six hours weekly. Additional fee required.
