ARTS 332 - Mixed Media

Prerequisite: ARTS 104 with a minimum grade of “C-” and ARTS 125 with a minimum grade of “C-” and ARTS 130 with a minimum grade of “C-” and ARTS 140 with a minimum grade of “C-” and ARTS 230 with a minimum grade of “C-” and one other 200-level ARTS course with minimum grade of “C-“; and either ARTH 103 with a minimum grade of “C-” or ARTH 104 with a minimum grade of “C-“; or consent of instructor
In this course, students develop inventive and experimental approaches to a variety of media. The student will examine how media, idea and composition relate while exploring nontraditional uses of traditional media, as well as the blurring of boundaries between the disciplines when working in assemblage, mixed-media/collage formats. Meets six hours weekly.
