COMM 519 - Strategic Public Relations Research(3 credits) Prerequisite: COMM 517 This course focuses on applied research techniques with an emphasis on the research phase, and planning and evaluating strategic public relations campaigns that align with and support an organization’s strategic plan. The course emphasizes the role of qualitative and quantitative research techniques and methods including surveys, focus groups, content analysis and psychographic data culminating in the creation of a measurement plan for a client. Offered annually.
