LASW 101 - Elementary Swahili I

This introductory course will provide students with the basic structures and vocabulary of Swahili in a communicative and functional way. Students will also learn about language contact with Arabic, Portuguese, English and other languages that have influenced Swahili language and culture. Offered periodically. (CGCL; CHUM)
