PHIL 303 - Modern Philosophy

Prerequisite: One 200-level, three-credit course in philosophy
This course examines selected works of the more prominent philosophers of the 17^th and 18^th centuries, including Descartes, Spinoza, Leibniz, Locke, Berkeley, Hume and Kant. It explores their metaphysical and epistemological views, as well as the systematic approaches they take to solving some difficult philosophical puzzles. Offered spring semester. (CHUM; CWRT)
