PHED 159 - Latin Social Dance(1 credit)
This course will offer an introduction to the major dances of the Caribbean: Mambo (commonly known as Salsa), Merengue, Cha Cha and the internationally popular tango. This course will cover the basic steps, patterns, history and cultural significance of each dance. These dances will be taught in the modern style that is now popular in social settings. Offered fall and spring semester. (DANP 159)
