CNSA 510 - Student Development Theory in Higher Education(3 credits) This course is an introduction to student development theory and related developmental issues encountered by students in higher education settings. This course will cover developmental issues, such as racial, sexual, gender, cognitive, ethical and emotional identity development. Students will learn how to apply developmental theories to direct student affairs practice. Basic concepts, philosophies and current models, practices and issues in the field will be studied.
