Anthropological and sociological perspectives familiarize students with the impacts of the global north-south divide, world capitalism, globalization, conflicts and environmental sustainability issues on human displacements and movements. Politics, policies, aims of justice and law enforcement will help understand the minoritized/vulnerabilized identities and inequalities among migrant groups. Offered fall semester.
