CHST 498 - Internship in Childhood Studies

(1-15 credits)
Prerequisite: CHST 203; junior or senior standing with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA; and consent of the CHST program coordinator
The internship experience provides a non-classroom work experience related to Childhood Studies such as working in a child welfare organization, museum, government agency, social justice organization, civic institution, school or with a health care provider. In addition to working in the internship setting, students meet regularly with a faculty supervisor. There are opportunities for virtual internships. Repeatable: may be repeated up to two times for a maximum of 15 credits. Graded on a (P) Pass/(N) No Pass basis. Offered fall, spring, summer.
