READ 642 - Literacy Within and Across the Curriculum(3 credits)
Prerequisite: Matriculation in EdS in Reading; restricted to cohort members
This course provides candidates a comprehensive overview of the integration of reading and writing across the curriculum with emphasis on instructional strategies used to prepare students with the skills necessary to read, comprehend and react to complex instructional materials in the various content areas. Attention will also be given to assessment practices and analysis across the curriculum. Offered fall and spring semesters.
