NUTR 425 - Cultural Factors Influencing Nutrition and Health

(3 credits)
Prerequisite: NUTR 210
In this course students will explore contemporary food patterns of various cultures and food related issues created by religious, economic, geographic and sociocultural factors. This course will also address the effects that cultural nutrition has had on key health issues and primary diseases among various ethnicities. Offered spring semester.
