ECED 375 - Teaching All Learners PK-2: Field Experience II

Prerequisite: ELED 305 and ELED 314 and ELED 315
Corequisite: ECED 342 and ECED 361

Teacher candidates build upon skills developed during Field Experience I through participation in a field experience consisting of direct engagement with PreK-2 students in authentic instructional settings. Teacher candidates will have the opportunity to practice, to be observed and to receive feedback on teaching. Teacher candidates will translate theory into practice with developmentally appropriate instructional methods for teaching individual children and/or small groups. Field placements will be off campus in public early childhood or elementary schools serving students of diverse populations. Teacher candidates will be required to submit a Criminal Offenders Record Information (CORI) and fingerprints to the school district they are placed in. Graded on a (P) Pass/(N) No Pass basis. Offered fall and spring semesters.
