MATH 621 - Real Analysis I(3 credits)
Prerequisite: MATH 521 with minimum grade of “B-” or consent of instructor
This course provides a foundation to the theory of metric spaces. Topics include countable and uncountable sets, metric and normed spaces, sequence spaces, open and closed sets, continuous functions, connected sets, completeness and compactness. Offered fall and spring semesters.
