MATH 622 - Real Analysis II(3 credits) Prerequisite: MATH 621 with a minimum grade of “B-“ This course provides a foundation to the theory of function spaces and Lebesgue integration. Topics include sequences of functions, pointwise and uniform convergence, spaces of continuous functions, Weierstrass Approximation Theorem, equicontinuity, Arzela-Ascoli Theorem, Lebesgue measure, measurable functions, the Lebesgue integral and Lebesgue’s Dominated Convergence Theorem. Offered alternate years.
